Clubs

We believe in a holistic approach to education that develops the whole child through encouraging self-reflection, critical thinking, exploration, and respect for others. In addition to a diverse curriculum taught in an interactive environment that encourages the development of public speaking and critical thinking skills, we further pursue these guiding principles through programs and clubs in which all students participate at various points throughout their time at Durham Nativity School.

Each Friday afternoon, volunteers join us to lead clubs, sharing their talent, passion, and expertise. Students have participated in the following clubs:

  • Music… Introduction to Piano
  • Youth Percussion Ensemble
  • Tennis
  • Lacrosse
  • Aikido
  • Mock Trial
  • Cooking Matters
  • Math Counts
  • First Aid and Disaster Preparedness
  • Assemblage
  • Disney Ecology Challenge
  • Video and Production
  • Chess
  • Youth Radio
