Application for Admittance 2026-2027

Thank you for your interest in Durham Nativity School. The application should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Please have your student’s most recent report card, EOG scores, and income verification ready to upload. Students with recent EOG scores may be eligible to waive MAP testing. However, MAP testing is still recommended because it helps DNS better understand where your child is academically right now.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Families are encouraged to apply early, as space may be limited.

* EOG scores show end-of-year grade-level performance. MAP testing helps measure current academic levels, growth, strengths, and areas where support may be needed. DNS uses MAP testing to help families better understand their child’s learning journey and to create stronger academic support plans.
Durham Nativity School participates in the Opportunity Scholarship program through the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority. Learn more about the program here.

Durham Nativity School strives to provide an excellent education so that its students will have multiple educational and career opportunities. In order to achieve those goals, the parental support and expectations of involvement may be higher than other schools. Please read the following questions carefully.

DNS is located north of downtown Durham. Can you provide transportation for your student to arrive and be picked up punctually?*

Do you understand that DNS is a scholarship-based school, but parents are responsible to pay a $50 a month activity fee. *

Are you willing and able to volunteer 12 hours to support our PEP programs and recruitment iniatiatives?*
