Curriculum

It is the belief of the Durham Nativity School Board of Directors, Faculty, Staff, and School Administration that our students receive the best education possible that will enable them to individually compete locally, nationally, and eventually internationally with other young scholars within the same age range. This means that we are committed to developing and delivering an all encompassing, comprehensive curriculum driven by the United States National Standards, the Nativity Miguel Schools Standards/Benchmarks, and the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. In addition to the academic standard of excellence that we offer, we offer a Physical Education, Character/Leadership Education, Career Awareness and Arts Enrichment component to the educational program at DNS. We believe that an exemplary educational program serves the needs of the “whole child” building all of the necessary skills for each student to become a leader and change agent within their community.
