Who Are We?
Durham Nativity School aims to educate and empower each child to reach their full potential. Without regard to race, religion or ethnicity, we accept boys who have the ability and commitment to achieve, yet lack the resources to attend a quality, independent school. We invite you to learn about our academic programs and admissions, or how to get involved and help us achieve our mission!
|Why Donate?||Why Volunteer?||Upcoming Events|
|Every donation is used to enrich our school and the lives of our students. Donations help us provide unique opportunities and encourage students to grow academically, spiritually, culturally, and physically.
DNS is not tuition driven, but completely dependent on private donation. This is not always an easy process, but we are sure of one thing: It will always be worth it.
|Volunteers play a vital role at Durham Nativity School, modeling what we hope for in our students, to develop character by serving the community and making a difference in others lives.
Volunteer opportunities include tutors, reading circles, library helpers, community service, arts enrichment and coaching sports.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Dr. Joseph Moylan, Durham Nativity School founder, passed away last night. He will be greatly missed. Below is a statement from Brendan Moylan on behalf of the family.
“In a life of accomplishment, Dr. Moylan considered the young men at the Durham Nativity School as his greatest achievement. Outside of his own family, his favorite topic was the successes of ‘his boys’ at the school. The school is rooted in his deep faith and simple belief that we are here to make the world a better place. On behalf of the Moylan family, I would like to thank you for sharing his dream and continuing his legacy.” — Brendan Moylan
Gifts in Dr. Moylan’s memory may be made to: Durham Nativity School, P.O. Box 3537, Durham, NC 27702
