Summer is Here, and that means we’re very busy!
Instilling character and developing skills, summer camps like Camp Sea Gull and Camp Weaver have been a part of our school program for years. While our faculty and staff prepare for the coming school year, many of our students are busy attending summer camps. While there, our young men stay active learning life skills such as how to swim, how to build a team with a diverse group of people, and they even get their boating license! We thank our camp partners for providing this enriching opportunity for our students.
We are hosting our first-ever summer camp thanks to a generous grant from the Koortbojian Foundation. The six-week reading camp, launched June 18, is providing access to high-interest books, and fostering a love of reading for boys and girls in the community. The camp and its daily activities are intended to be dynamic and supportive of the camp’s mission and the theme: heroes… fictional, historical, and everyday heroes. See below for a special invitation related to the camp!
