Dr. Daniel J. Vannelle |

| Dr. Vannelle grew up in Shadyside, Ohio and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from The Ohio State University in 1976. Dr. Vannelle also earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from The Ohio State University in 1981. He returned to his hometown, Shadyside, Ohio to practice dentistry from 1981-2001. From 2001-2004, Dr. Vannelle taught Science and Math at Eagles Nest Ranch and Academy, an alternative school for at-risk youth in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Moving to North Carolina, Dr. Vannelle taught in Hillsborough at Abundant Life Christian Academy. Dr. Vannelle joined Durham Nativity School for the 2005-2006 academic year to teach Science and Math. Prior to his promotion to DNS Principal, Dr. Vannelle taught three grade levels of Science and served as the School Dean of Admissions. He lives in Efland, North Carolina with his wife, Beth. |

Arthur Jimerson is originally from Norfolk
Va., where he attended and played football at Norfolk State University.
Following his college career, he went on to play defensive end for
the Los Angeles Raiders. After a knee injury, he returned to Norfolk
State to complete his studies and graduate with honors. He holds
both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics and Urban Education
respectively.
He brings an extensive background in teaching and counseling to
his multiple roles at DNS and is very passionate about his work
with previous students and will bring that same initiative to his
DNS students. |

| Mr. Burton has been the DNS Director of Development
for the past four years. Mr. Burton is a long-time North Carolina
resident residing in Wake County with his wife and three children
for over 27 years. Mr. Burton has had a distinguished career in sales
with Hallmark Cards for eighteen years and, most recently, in the
development/fund raising area for over ten years. He also served two
terms as a Town Councilman in Cary, NC. Richard’'s outside work
activities and interests center around his wife, family and church.
Richard is an active volunteer at his church with a keen interest
in Bible studies and helping grow the Shepherds Seminary in Cary,
NC. |

Kathryn E. DuPree |

| Mrs. DuPree was born in Dennison, Ohio, grew up in
New Jersey and lived in Reading PA, before eventually settling in
North Carolina. She attended Taylor Business Institute in New
York City, as well as Reading (PA) Area Community College. Mrs. DuPree
founded the Girls Club for the Police Athletic League in Reading and
served as its Office Manager and Director of Leadership Development,
where she worked with over 65 girls from ages 6-18 years old.
Mrs. DuPree has been married to Willie L. DuPree for 41 years and
has one daughter. After her daughter went to college, she additionally
raised several foster children. |

Ms. Vanderbilt originally hails from Memphis, TN. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wellesley College and her Master of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has called Durham home since 2003 and she wants to give back to this community through DNS all of the support she has received over the years. She has extensive training and experience in home and outpatient therapy. She is the proud owner of one cat, Sophia, and in her spare time enjoys liturgical dance, reading, and
laughter with friends and family. |

| Born in Seattle, Washington, Maura has been a Durham
resident since 1976. She is a graduate of Belmont Abbey College and
had a successful retail career prior to starting her family and beginning
her work here at DNS. Her role at DNS encompasses many functions,
all revolving around community support and participation. She works
as a volunteer coordinator, recruiting and training the many community
volunteers that come to our school and coordinates the community outreach
program for our students. She also works closely with our Development
Department in building and cultivating relationships with current
and future donors/supporters. Maura lives in Durham with her four
school age children. |

James “Mike” Glenn originally hails
from Newark, NJ and graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury,
NC in 2006. Prior to joining our faculty, Mike served in a management
capacity for various retail businesses. Having a lot of experience
in coaching youth soccer, basketball, t-ball and football, Mike
will bring added talent to our faculty/staff besides his teaching
Math 6 and pre-algebra. Mike is the proud father of three and enjoys
leisure time with his family and playing and coaching sports. |

Ms. Dozier is a lifelong North Carolinian, having
been raised in Franklinton, NC. She comes from a large family of
two brothers and three sisters and her parents are both retired
educators. She received her Bachelor of Art in Spanish and her Bachelor
of Science in Pre-Physical Training from UNC-Greensboro. She joins
the DNS faculty following years of teaching Spanish at the high
school and college level and comes by her love of the language from
having a high school Spanish teacher who excited her to want to
teach others. Angel will also teach Latin to our sixth grade students.
Angel is the proud mother of a fourteen year old son and she likes
to spend her spare time reading and doing the New York Times crossword
puzzle. |

Ms. Nabke is excited to blend her love of literature, writing, and creativity into her role as Humanities teacher at Durham Nativity School. Ms. Nabke was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, and currently resides in Chapel Hill. Prior to serving at Durham Nativity School, Ms. Nabke taught English at the high school level for five years, where she was also a coach and student council advisor. She earned a Bachelors degree in English from Marquette University in 2004 and a Master’s degree in Educational Curriculum from Grand Canyon University in 2008. Ms. Nabke loves to spend time with her family; she is also an avid reader, college basketball fan, and tennis player. |

Mr. Smalls was born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia where he also resided until completion of high school. Upon completion of high school Mr. Smalls attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Eructation (2006) and his Master of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Science (2008). As a part of his Master's degree, Mr. Smalls was accepted and completed an internship at Duke University Medical Center working in the Cardiac/Pulmonary rehabilitation program, and has been residing in Raleigh, North Carolina ever since. William also has been working as a personal trainer for the past four years and has served that position in a number of different locations and brings a lot of variety to DNS team. In his spare time, William has a love for sports, primarily basketball and football, and also loves spending time with family or friends any chance he gets. |

Ms. Campbell joins DNS this year as our Mathematics teacher. She is a native of St. Ann Jamaica and is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to joining DNS, she worked at the middle school level in Henderson, NC for the past three years. She is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys watching and participating in various athletic activities. In addition to her passion for teaching young people, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her teaching skills and classroom presence will serve our students well in advancing their math knowledge and skills.

DNS is honored to have Pastor Davis join our school as a faculty member teaching our students religion and character education.
Pastor Davis comes from a family steeped in the tradition of the church, beginning with his grandfather teaching him as a youth about his spirituality in his hometown of Hampton, Virginia. His strong faith carried him throughout his high school and college years where he attended Hampton High School, Gardner-Webb University, and later at Norfolk State University. Since graduation from Norfolk State in 1993, Pastor Davis has served as an elder, Associate Pastor, and Pastor in several churches and has ministered to many people through his missionary work over four continents. He is currently serving as the founding Pastor of Kingdom International Church and resides in Durham with his three children, Andre III, Madison, and Jarden.
