Admissions Process
In order to ensure that we are the right match for your child and that your child is the right match for us, each student is required to complete the following steps:
Step One: Applications are obtained at scheduled Open Houses and by visiting DNS during school hours. The applications are to be thoroughly completed and returned to the school.
Open house dates:
- January 7th, 2013 – 6:00pm
- February 4th, 2013 – 6:00pm
- February 25th, 2013 – 6:00pm
- March 11th, 2013 – 6:00pm
Step Two: Applicants attend Saturday Academy (SAC) during the Spring of 2013.
Step Three: Applicants attend a DNS Day Camp, Saturday, May 4th, 2013. The day camp provides team-building and leadership experiences, as well as providing faculty the opportunity to observe student interactions and behaviors outside the classroom.
Step Four: The prospective student and his parent/guardian complete a formal interview with the DNS Administrative Team.
Step Five: Applicants attend Summerbridge in June, 2013.
